Who is behind BrewHardware.com? It's easy to see a retail website as the face of a big corporation but we are smaller operation. As of 2020, I have 3 part time employees but it's still mostly me running the operations. You may know me as Bobby_M on Homebrewtalk.com or BobbyfromNJ on Youtube.com. Either way, it's important that you know that I'm half brewer, half garage tinkerer and this little business venture is simply an extension of my obsession with the brewing hobby. I didn't start off thinking from a business perspective but rather got drawn into it due to popular demand. I originally got the idea to start producing sight glasses because I wasn't able to find any for a reasonable price when I need them for my brew rig (in 2009). A couple years into casually selling a few home grown gadgets and I finally realized that this was what I wanted my career to be.

In the summer of 2013, order volume picked up enough that I could no longer maintain my full time career and still balance my business and personal life. With 18 years in a secure job, you can imagine it was not the easiest decision to walk away, but it was the only choice I could live with. I believe that serving the homebrewing community is my calling and that's what I do every day now.

In May of 2014, we moved the operation to a 3000 square foot building in Hunterdon County, NJ allowing for product expansion and higher stock levels on everything. The building is also large enough to accommodate a retail space for typical homebrewing consumables and raw ingredients.
