tn4EZSK

Model: WLSL - $24.95

This is the flagship product for Brewhardware.com featuring a design that just hasn't been done before. It's also the first kit that solves the calibration markings challenge after you install it.  It is a premium kit with everything you need except the drill bit.

Includes:

  • 19" Polycarbonate Tubing rated to 250F.
  • Stainless Hardware
  • High Temp. Silicone Gasket
  • Stainless eye bolt for securing the tube to the top of your pot.
  • Black Vinyl Numbers for each gallon mark from 2 to 15. (5-50 liter also available, contact me)

Install Requirements:

  • Drill a clean 9/16" diameter hole in the side of your HLT or boil kettle and install liquid connection hand tight, or just snug with a wrench. The weldless system is 100% leak free the first time with no teflon tape or messing around.
  • Don't forget to grab a Step Bit if ou don't already have one.
  • Drill a 1/4" hole in the top/side of your vessel and install eyebolt to hold the sight tube vertical.
  • These will NOT work in kegs that have a bulge in the sidewall, e.g. Hoff Stevens kegs.

Options:

You must specify if your vessel is straight sided or a converted keg. The tubing meant for a keg is threaded at a slight angle so that it remains vertical when installed into the curved bottom edge.

What kind of vessel?

I bought 2 of these for my keggles. They are a very simple, quality design. The calibration numbers are nothing short of awesome and are very easy to read. I don't really know of any equivalent product out there, especially at this price.

MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THE INSTALLATION VIDEO, EVEN IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW HOW TO INSTALL IT! Bobby, gives several helpful tips that will make it a lot easier, and will make you say "huh, I never thought of that, but it makes perfect sense!"

Also, FYI...if you are installing this on a keg, make sure you install them at the specified height (he tells you in the video)! Since he threads them at an angle, the height you mount them on the keg wall matters. I installed mine a little too high on my keg and it made it kind of hard to level. But that's my fault for not following the installation instructions...I still very happy!

Awesome product and instruction video! Just installed and calibrated the sight glass and couldn't be happier with the product and video. This is my first keg conversion and I am sure that I will buy more as my system grows. Fair prices+ quality product+ quick shipping+ clear instructions= good business. Will update after the first brew.
