This is stainless 2-piece body with a non-restricing "full port" ball and 1/2" NPT female threads on both ends. Use them on your boil kettle, HLT, mash tun, pumps, etc. Price this against your local homecenter's brass alternative and you'll find it's not much more money to go stainless. To make this a "weldless" valve, please purchase a weldless bulkhead separately.

Includes:

• One 1/2" NPT full port ball valve constructed of Stainless Steel with 2-piece construction. (If you're looking for a more "premium" option, check out the 3-piece version). If you already have a coupling welded in, you'll need a 1/2" NPT close nipple to mate the coupling to the valve. If you plan to have a coupling welded in, you can find both the coupling and close nipples on the SS fittings page.

Install Requirements:

• Use teflon tape on all threaded connections.

• You can get just the piece valve by itself which is the standard offering.

Note: The current weight calculation assumes the ball valve is being added to a sightglass sized box. However, if you order up to 6 of these without a sightglass, I will probably ship in a small USPS flat rate box. If you buy several of these and are overcharged for shipping by more than a dollar or two, I will refund the difference.
