Description

This pump wins for the least expensive stainless headed magnetic drive pump for the budget conscious brewer. The overall size is smaller than the Chugger, March, and Blichmann Riptide and the flow rate is relatively diminished in comparison as well. However, the pump runs pretty quiet and at this price, it's a great value.

Max flow rate; 5 gal/minute at zero head
304SS head with 1/2" male NPT inlet and output
120 volt AC motor with included cord and plug
Sealed motor housing is water/splash resistant (not water proof)

5 of 5 Great Pump! July 10, 2020
Reviewer: Josh Brockett from Clovis, CA United States
I have 2 of these pumps and they work great. I haven’t owned any other kind to compare to. I can say though it has a lot of power. I get a solid whirlpool in my kettle, even going through my 50ft counterflow chiller. When the wort goes through my 50ft herms coil into my mash tun for recirculation if I don’t semi close a ball valve it will be too much force. It will drain a 15g pot in a little over a minute.
I have mine set up with a ball valve on the OUT.
Gets the job done. Big Bang for your buck.
