1 of 5 Not good for beer line cleaning April 29, 2019
Reviewer: Michael Mahlum from Boise, ID United States
I was hoping for something to connect my beer line to a hose off my pump to clean the lines. There is no flow, even with the pump at full output.  This part may be good for other applications, but this did not work for me.

Used these on my Uni, Chonicals and Brite Tanks for closed transfer quick connect.  They make it so easy, I will never go back to the old way of doing it.

1 of 5 Didn't work well. Leaky and restrictive flow. July 30, 2018
Reviewer: Scott Swindells from Chesterfield, MO United States
I bought this and the gas version. Both parts leak gas and liquid where the post butts up against the triclamp base. Confirmed by bobby. Solution offered was an o-ring gasket.

The bigger issue is the flow restriction is extreme. It took more than an hour to gravity drain 10 gallons into 2 kegs. Using something else similar, but not as elegant, it only takes 20 minutes.

Response: We did confirm a leak issue with the use of the diptubes but we did have a fix. The flow is exactly the same as ball lock posts on corny kegs. I don't think it's fair to rate a product 1-star because it didn't solve a problem you assumed it was intended for. The more likely reason it didn't work well for gravity drain is that your jumper hose may be too small in ID (such as beverage line at 3/16" ID? guessing).  You probably want to put a couple PSI of pressure into the headspace instead of a gravity drain.
