Infinitely better than carbacap. January 25, 2023 Reviewer: Jay Bryon from Oakland, CA United States   Carbacap went stupid with their product update, and made it impossible to use, so I searched for an alternative. I wish I had found this sooner, it's actually cheaper, better made, and stainless steel.  It works perfectly, the quality is definitely there.   I built a carbonator for my wife who likes bubbly water, but doesn't like the landfill aspects (or expense) of the sodastream type products.  This is a key part of that system, adapting between the soda bottle and the carbonator connector hose. Never ending seltzer water March 31, 2019 Reviewer: Daniel Simas from Reno, NV United States   This cap is worth every cent. I have been using it on a 2.5 liter PET soda bottle and I can't get enough of the seltzer I have been making. This cap is super durable and I can see that it is going to give me years of enjoyment. great price and well constructed December 1, 2016 Reviewer: Timur Snoke from Allison Park, PA United States   Looking up from the bottom you realize that this is a well designed and well built solution you will buy only once... unless you need to sopport more bottles. Beefy! January 7, 2016 Reviewer: Hophead Tom from Charlotte, NC   I've used the common plastic variety and those work well except one that cracked where the stem meets the base.  That won't happen with these beefy stainless caps.  This one appears to have a good poppet with a good O-ring seal.  The cap seals very well on the soda bottle with a black washer.
