This is exactly what I needed! My old mash tun was beginning to warp - so in with the new and out with the old. Very fast shipping!

5 of 5 Great mash tun February 16, 2016
Reviewer: Bill T from Eugene, OR United States
I started to source parts to make this at home, but quickly found that BrewHardware could sell me one for just a little more than the cost of parts.  Everything's top quality and well put together.  I made my first batch yesterday, and it worked perfectly.  Nice job!

5 of 5 Excellent mash tun February 16, 2016
Reviewer: Randall Smith from Mill Valley, CA United States
Although the mash tun did not come with an Igloo label as suggested by the product image, it came in an Igloo box and has all the configuration features of an Igloo. Regardless of that issue, it performed flawlessly on the first trial, holding a mash temp of 152 degrees for the full 60 minutes. The screen and ball valve worked effectively. A great product.

5 of 5 Mash tun and brewing questions November 12, 2015
Reviewer: Greg
Great company and excellent customer service.  Will for sure do business with them again.  I even had a couple questions and they were happy to help me out and did not make me feel like a silly rookie!.

Thanks to all.

Greg

5 of 5 Very Pleased August 24, 2015

I've only used it on two batches so far, but I haven't had any trouble vorlaufing or with stuck sparges, and there have been no leaks. Temperatures have been stable to within one or two degrees farenheit during hour-long mashes.

One of the beers I brewed using this was a Russian Imperial Stout using 20 pounds of grain at 1.2 quarts of water per pound. It fit easily even with a Mash Recirculation Kit installed into the sidewall of the cooler.

5 of 5 Vey nice product! July 1, 2015

Yes, you could build this yourself and most of us like to fabricate some of our equipment, but if you price out the parts individually, you could hardly beat this price - plus you get high quality components in this build, especially the high-flow false bottom. I also needed advice on a thermowell installation, and Bobby was spot on with what I needed.  Thanks!

5 of 5 Fantastic product. February 8, 2015

Excellent mash tun.  I actually got one elsewhere at first but it was damaged in shipping due to the valve sticking out, and had some features I didn't think were necessary.  Brewhardware's is solidly put together and has the push-down cap, rather than screw on.  I got a stuck mash the first time I used it but that was user error - I didn't have the false bottom centered.  Cheers and brew on.
