Game changer January 3, 2022 Reviewer: Chris   Just moved to a RIMS system and this hardware is amazing. I added the pre-made electrical cord and only needed to make some simple plug connections and was ready to go. I got the clearest wort I've ever had into the fermenter, recirculation is where it's at! Was this review helpful to you?

Wicked awesome quality!! May 4, 2019 Reviewer: Thomas Rogers from Saugus, MA United States   Sleek and shiny.  Bonus on the laser etched Beerhardware logo.  Love the HotPod enclosure.  Very professional.  Ran the RIMS through test run.  Heated 5.5 gal from 60F to 152F in 60 min with a 1500wt element.  Only intended to keep mash temp, not heat from start ... impressed.  Shipment was quicker than I thought and Bobby's instructions were concise.   I'm glad I didn't buy parts and build myself.  Definitely..worth it! Great product, great support January 15, 2018 Reviewer: Vince from Amherst, NY United States   I built the Electric Brewery, but with RIMS not HERMS, using this with a 5500W 230VAC heating element. Mounted it to a leg on my stainless steel table and have used for about 6 brews now. Definitely recommend the Auberins EZBoil... I tried a few different PID's, auto-tune, was even reading up on manual tune. The EZBoil did exactly what I needed it to with my 5500W element no problem, with only minor adjustments which are easy and expected. Bobby's customer service is always great. He patiently answers questions, usually quickly... Even though I would have found my own answers if I read his descriptions on each product page more clearly. RIMs kit March 11, 2017 Reviewer: Sean O'Connell from Dover, NJ United States   The RIMs tube is awesome.  Nicely crafted.   After discussing temp/probe set up, and telling Bobby I was thinking of using an Inkbird ITC-308,  Bobby also set me straight on this.  He pointed me in the right direction by recommending getting my control and probe from Auber Instruments.   The Inkbird reads heat temp on a per second interval.  Which can create a lag on dialing in on your desired temp.  Where's the Auber DSPR120A reads at 1/10 of second.  Creating less stress on your RIMs system to get an accurate temp read.  Talk to Bobby he can speak to it better than I. Foldover element needs tweaked January 29, 2017 Reviewer: DR   Need to tweak the element and bend it a bit if you are using a foldover type.  Other than that, the tube is great quality. Was this review helpful to you?
