Sealed transfer from conical to corny keg May 10, 2016 Reviewer: Joseph Hopkins from Rossland, BC Canada   Bobby's site was the first place I knew to look for this item and I was not disappointed. Fantastic quality. I upgraded to TC butterfly valves and purchased this to do sealed transfers from my conical into co2 purged corny kegs. Hook up a beer line hose with a ball/pin lock QD on one end and an female flare nut on the other and your set up. Don't forget to put the gas QD on the keg first so you don't have back pressure when you hook the keg up to the fermenter and order a few nylon washers since they are easily misplaced and required for a good seal. I also use it to maintain an oxygen free crash cool (avoid suck back) if you have a 1.5" TC fitting on top of your fermenter. Hook up your gas hose (if you have flare fittings on your QDs) turn your regulator to a couple psi and drop the temperature. Was this review helpful to you?
