We made this specifically for 1" female NPT pump inlets such as what is found on the new line of Chugger Max pumps.

The higher flow requirements of larger pumps is the perfect excuse to innovate. We moved up to the 3/4" standard camlock sizing for this application but we didn't want to have to use a threaded adapter to get it into the 1" inlet of these pumps. This fitting has 1" male threads to directly thread into the pump. The perfect mate to this fitting is the 3/4" BIGC which would go on the end of our 3/4" ID silicone hose.

Note that the thread length on these fittings is a bit short. You may need to use a couple extra wraps of teflon tape to keep the insertion depth to a minimum.
