Description   This is the highest quality molasses we could find. It is typically used at a ratio of 1 gallon per 5 gallons of rum wash. It runs approximately 80 Brix so when 1 gallon is diluted with 4 gallons of water, the result will be 5 gallons of 16 Brix or 1.063 SG with a potential alcohol of about 7% ABV. This can be augmented with table sugar as needed where each pound of sugar in 5 gallons will add about 1% ABV. Fermentation will require turbo yeast or another combination of yeast and yeast nutrient. If you're making a big batch, this 5 gallons would be diluted with 20-25 gallons of water and boosted with 25-50 pounds of additional table sugar.
