Description

Brewers that use immersion chillers and also own a pump should know that recirculating the wort back into the kettle to whirlpool the wort makes for much faster cooling and will also make a concentrated pile of trub and hop particles in the center of the kettle bottom.

This is our third version of the industry leading whirpooling hardware. The original SpinCycle and SpinCycle Submerge both require a hole to be drilled into your kettle. Some people drill holes without a second thought but this one is for people who can't or do not want to modify their kettle.

We've built this unit one at a time on a customer request basis for years but we've finally made them a part of our everyday offerings. It starts with a length of 1/2" OD 304 polished SS tubing that bends up and over the kettle wall, then drops straight down through a heavy duty spring clamp. Finally the bottom is bent 90 degrees to kick the output to your sidewall and make the liquid spin.

You have your choice of how the flow gets in to the unit. The cheap way is to select "open tube on the end" and then just clamp your hose over it. The more realistic option is to select "Welded male Camlock" if you use camlock quick disconnects in your system. This is the version shown in the main picture. Ordering a unit with a welded fitting will incur an extra couple days delay as we build these all to order.

The other choice is what the maximum drop is from the top of the pot to the output tube. To be clear, these are the lengths when the tubing is slid as far down in the clamp as possible. You can easily shorten the depth by taking pressure off the spring clamp and sliding the tubing up.

Note, this unit does NOT work with Sanke keg coverted boil kettles unless you make a slot or hole in the top where the main hole was cut.

Please note that the spring clamps is NOT stainless steel and will rust if you submerge the entire unit in cleaning solutions regularly. If you wish to soak the SS tubing part, slide it out of the clamp.

5 of 5 Multi-use tool for your brew day! June 29, 2020

I bought this for my Anvil Foundry 10.5 and it is excellent! I added the extra 18" length to get down into the kettle and a camlock male end to match my existing setup.

It does everything...

Lower it into the top of the grain-pipe to recirc during the mash.

Recirc 180 degree wort to sanitize.

Put the recirc end against the chiller coils for a recirculating wort immersion chiller.

Recirc to aearate and pump chilled wort into the fermenter, adjusting heigfht as I go with the spring clamp.

Used the Spincycle Overboard with my new Mash and Boil with pump and it worked as advertised. I bought the one with the plain end and would have liked for it to have a barbed end.
Good solution- no drilling or welding.

5 of 5 Another grand slam! May 24, 2020

I purchased a new Anvil Foundry 10.5 gallon brew system and of course tried to"rig" up a way to whirl pool in it and failed.  I once again turned to Brew Hardware for a solution and once again they had one.  The No-Drill kettle whirlpool arm arrived quickly and is of the same high quality as everything else I have ordered from them.  The amazing innovative solutions that Brew Hardware comes up with and the absolute high quality of their products makes them the go to place for brew equipment hardware.  Great job.  **And the whirlpool arm works fantastic!!

I love how versatile this thing is...I can put it in the hop spider at flame out and collect a large amount of hop matter then point it directly at my immersion chiller to drop the temp super fast. And of course the craftsmanship is the best just like everything Bobby sells.

5 of 5 Works great on the Anvil Foundry 10.5 May 6, 2020

I bought this for my Anvil Foundry 10.5 and it is perfect. I added the extra 18" length to get down lower into the basket plus a camlock male end to whirlpool. It works excellent. Keeps trub and hops in the center of the kettle so I draw off clearer wort. Love it!
