Sometimes we have a grand plan for a given fitting. This time we're just spit balling to see what sticks. We took the profile of a ball lock keg post and replaced the poppit and spring with just two large bored out holes. The other end is a 1/4" OD hose barb that will work with 3/16' ID or 1/4" ID Bevlex. One application we already found for this size version is to put on your Blichmann Beer Gun's gas hose so you can quickly grab any grey QD gas line and pop it on rather than having to use the FFL swivel to connect it.

These guys at Brew Hardware are the best. I was trying to build a simple beer line cleaner for one of my friends. Got him a small, one gallon garden sprayer that had ¼” tubing. This fitting is exactly the answer to the question how. ROFL  Thanks!
