Irish Red is a less hoppy, malt forward version of American Amber. Very drinkable!
Dry, bitter, dark.
Malt favored in the toffee and nutty zone with just enough hops to round it out.
Decidedly British. Bready malt character with earthy and herbal noble hops on top. A less aggressive version of a pale ale.
Maybe you haven't heard of a dark mild but it's like getting a hug from a long lost British nanny. Smooth, malty, low ABV. Have a couple.
