WHY? Hand pumping air into a keg of beer is sacrilege that's why. It begins the the spoiling process immediately and will affect the flavor of the beer within the first hour. Not only that, air does not keep the beer carbonated so the beer will get more and more foamy (and flat) over the course of the day. Using pure CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) is how bars keep their beer fresh for weeks. If your guests (and you) deserve the very best beer quality for the several hours or days that you intend to dispense, this rental is for you. WHY? GUINNESS is poured through a very specific collection of equipment with a very specific type of gas (a blend of CO2 and Nitrogen). It is impossible to pour a keg of Guinness using the typical picnic style hand pump.
