Very much known for its beginnings in Chico California, inspired by the Sierra Nevada mountain range, a gold standard American Pale Ale. It's basically a showcase for Northwestern USA grown Cascade hops.

Estimated Alcohol by Vol: 5.6 %
Bitterness: 38 IBUs
Est Color: 7 SRM (Medium Golden)


This beer will do well with Whitelabs American Ale (WLP-001) or Omega West Coast 1 (OYL-004) in both cases a single pack should work for a 5-6 gallon batch. If you like the simplicity and cost of dry yeast, a pack of Safale US-05 would be decent.

For emphasis: This kit does not include yeast, it must be selected from the accessories list on the right.

If you plan to bottle condition, be sure you have 4 ounces of priming sugar. You can purchase that as an accessory as well.
