There are a few custom applications for which this fitting adapter would be used but the bottom line is that when you want to connect a CO2 gas QD to something with NPT threads on it, this is the missing link. This unit is made of two pieces. It has a 1/2" Male NPT x 19/32 adapter and a ball lock post (with a removable universal poppet and spring). There is a silicone oring between the two pieces It comes fully assembled as shown in the picture.

It is possible to install a long draw tube (diptube) in between the adapter and post just like a corny keg but it's a separate accessory that you'll have to purchase as most people don't use it.

All metal is 304SS and the rubber is Buna
