This kit contains two Ball/End Block PTFE seats (seals the end blocks to the main body and also provides the seal to the ball which stops the flow through the valve).

You'd want to use this kit if the valve has developed a leak from seat damage due to heat damage for example. Note that these are only guaranteed to fit with the valves we sell. They MAY work on other manufacturers but it's impossible to know.

The seals in my valve got distorted when I got a new burner that overheated it. Rebuilt the valve as good as new with these parts, then added a heat shield to protect the valve from direct flame.
