This kit assumes you have a new straight sided pot with no existing ports. For right now, we are only offering the full conversion kits with weldless parts. If you have existing welded ports or want to weld them in yourself, you can build up the kit yourself on the rest of the site. This item is for converting a flat bottom pot, if you're looking for keg conversion kits, look at a different item.


This model Pot-WL-3 is a three port kit including a weldless bulkhead with built in compact diptube, a sight glass and T325 dial thermometer with 3" face and 2.5" probe length, Make weldless parts for the thermometer and a 2pc SS ball valve. You can upgrade to a 3pc valve for a small upcharge which can be selected in the accessories area on the right. NEW! We now include our True Bulkhead Elbarb unit with this kit. Please note that we do not include a hose barb or type F camlock, you need to select one of these options in the list on the right.

Awesome kit.  Paired it with an 11 gal Bayou pot (model 1044) to make a HLT.  After the first test the only leak was with the thermometer.  I figured it would when I realized it was upside down and tried to fix it without redoing it all.  That was not smart.  For all the parts: Easy to put in and great directions/videos to follow.  These are good quality parts that don't have much give to them, meaning they almost seem like they are welded onto the tank itself.  My advice: Watch all three videos and it will be a breeze.

This kit is easy to install and VERY high quality.  Watch the videos that Bobby has listed and that's all the instruction you need.  I upgraded to the 3 piece ball valve which was worth the extra few bucks.

Nice to have everything needed to upgrade standard kettle in one kit. No risk of overlooking that one small part and having to wait another week, and pay additional shipping for the part to arrive. Extra credit is due for the videotaped instructions which made the installation easy as pie.

I bought this kit to convert my kettle and it worked well.  The video instructions were really great and made me feel pretty confident even though I had never drilled stainless or used a step bit before.  The only issue I had was with the gasket for the sight gauge. I mistakenly put the gasket on the inside of the pot and had leak problems until I found out that it goes on the outside.
