Use this kit to turn a 1/2" NPT threaded dial thermometer into its own weldless bulkhead for installing into a tank or kettle. You can buy these parts separately but this is a common combination of parts and the kit is slightly discounted. Includes 7/8" ID, 1/16" thick SS washer, 1/8" thick silicone gasket, and the 1/2" NPS locknut. The locknut does have an oring groove on one side.
The best way to use the kit is leave the SS washer on the thermometer, wrap the threads with plenty of teflon tape, push the thermometer through the hole in your vessle, then apply the gasket and locknut inside.
