I know, it's only 10 grams and doesn't come across as a bulk pack but let's look at the numbers. 1 gram (or a 10th of this pack) will feed a 1BBL batch (31 gallons). Basically a 5 gallon batch only needs .158 grams so this is easily a one year supply even for 10 gallon batch brewers.

If you don't have a scale accurate down to the 100th of a gram, you can be pragmatic about it and just grab the smallest pinch you can and call it a day. If you want to do it visually, a 5 gallon dose would look like a baby aspirin if it were in a small pile.

Just fold the pouch over, put in a ziplock freezer bag and seal with as much air squeezed out as possible. Keep in a cool and dry location.

Can be added at the end of the boil or directly into the fermenter. Bobby does the latter to be sure it doesn't get lost in the kettle trub.
