Woah, this is gorgeous. We took the ubiquitous black plastic ball lock connector and duplicated it in 100% 304 stainless steel. There are no plastic parts on this connector, even the poppet valve is stainless. The only non-stainless found is on the poppet oring and top cap oring.
This is the quick disconnect for the beer/liquid out side of a ball lock keg. You can tell it is for liquid because the main body is smooth (while the gas version features two embossed rings). It features a male flare thread with built in gasket. In order to attach tubing to this quick disconnect, you will need a flare to hose connector:
1. You can use any size 1/4" FFL x swivel hose barb connector (but since it is metal to metal, don't forget a flare gasket/ flare washer.
2. You can use the PUSHFFL fitting if you will be using Bevseal Ultra or EVAbarrier tubing.
