This Pressure Relief Valve features a 1.5" TC flange (2" actual diameter on the flange). The large piston is much less likely to clog with krausen than the smaller threaded PRVs and is the safest way to vent excess pressure on fermentation tanks. The spring is sized to vent at approximately 15psi.

NOTE: Technically this is not built to have an adjustable pressure but due to the way the top cap holds spring pressure on the piston does make it possible to slightly alter the vent pressure. With the cap fully threaded down onto the body, it will vent somewhere around 15psi (spring pressure relief valves are not precision devices). We do not recommend backing off the cap a full turn to slightly lower the vent pressure. We have other PRVs for that.
