There are several accessories, carbonation caps, etc that are compatible with PCO1881 threads and this adapter lets you put them on any 1.5" TC flange. A few of those accessories are shown on the right. One example is threading a carbonator cap on to this, either stainless, or plastic, to make an economy TC to Ball Lock Gas post.

Remember, 1.5" TC measures 2" actual.
