The 1-1/2" Triclover (TC) Instrument Tee in 304SS. An instrument tee has a shortened tap port which is practical for thermometer mounting or diffusion stones so they sit in the passing liquid flow.

I attach this to the 1.5" TC port on the top of my conical so I can keep the manufacturer's pressure gauge in place with a spunding valve off to the side.
