1/2" Male NPT threads facing towards the well tube.
6" of total tube depth, including the threaded bushing
Open back, no female threads.

This is our new series of Thread In Heavy Duty Thermowells The tube's ID accepts probes up to 1/4" in diameter. They are heavy duty in that the tubes have a slightly thicker wall than our lighter duty probes and the welds between the tubes and fitting are more robust.

Thermowells are devices that install into your vessels (or within your threaded plumbing) that allow a thermometer, digital thermometer probe, or temperature controller sensor to be inserted but kept isolated from the liquid the thermowell is immersed in.
