This replacement ORING fits on the post of ball lock or pin lock gas and liquid output posts. We include these in our five-piece keg oring kits but some customers just want to replace a couple nicked or cracked post orings because it takes the most abuse. It's always a great idea to keep a light coating of keg lube on these to prevent damage and make QD removal easier. This item is exactly one pair of orings as two are required for each keg. Dimensions for alternative uses: Approximately .4" ID x .6" OD. This size will stretch over 1/4" NPT threads; e.g. we use this for the seal in our weldless ball lock bulkheads.

In spite of most kegs being labeled with an "In" and "Out" label, albeit with small labels, I find myself often pushing the in tap on the out post or vice-versa. Adding color coding by making one post one color and the other post a contrasting color helps reduce this problem. I like red for the beer line "Out" and black for the CO2 line. Thanks Brew Hardware for offering these colored O-rings.
