This wrench fits beer faucet shanks on the collar/nut that holds the faucet on. Many people try to go hand tight on this nut and it can allow for leaks and lost beer. You do not want to use vise grips on this spot either because you'll scratch it all up.

Didn't even know these existed until I saw them here.  Bought myself one and am glad I did.  No more channel locks damaging the nut!  Get one!
