You can use this in your kettle to filter whole leaf hops or inside your converted cooler mash tun for batch sparging. The screen material is more rigid than the typical stainless braid solution. It comes with a welded stainless tubular screen, a short threaded SS nipple and a stainless Oetiker style (crimped) hose clamp to hold it all together. You can also loosen the clamp to clamp the screen over the VB2 variable length bulkhead to reduce the total number of parts. Approximately 13" total length, 1.25" diameter tube. If you need to make the tube a little shorter, you can roll the end and crimp again with pliers like rolling up a tube of toothpaste. We also have this in a much shorter version.

You can cut the clamp off the screen from the included close nipple and clamp it on to any other tube around 3/4" in diameter. You can also clamp the screen directly on to the end of our VB2 style bulkheads as well.

Several people have asked if this tube can be slipped over our "L" shaped keg diptubes and the answer is NO. The tube doesn't bend nicely due to the grid like nature of the screen.
