If you want to install one of our thermowells into your vessel (keg, pot, cooler), all it takes is a
silicone gasket and half coupling available as a kit here.The gasket goes against the hex of the thermowell bushing, the threads of the bushing go through a 1/2" hole in your vessel wall and finally the half coupling is threaded on from the other side. We could have used a locknut to do the same thing, but the half coupling provides a slicker look and is easier to clean.
Note, the picture shows the kit threaded on to a thermowell but the thermowell is NOT included with this item.
