This is an upgraded kit from our most basic economy kit. The main difference is that the primary fermenter is upgraded from a white bucket to a large mouth, crystal clear 7 Gallon PET fermenter so you can watch the yeasties turn sugar water into glorious nectar. Aside from just being plain interesting to watch, it will keep you from prying the lid off over and over to see what's going on in there.

Siphon equipment is included to carefully transfer the beer to an included pail for the bottling operation. Also upgraded for this kit is the inclusion of separate cleaning and sanitizing chemicals that are more effective than the combo products.

In addition to this kit, you will also need a malt extract based ingredient kit and a pot of at least 3 gallons capacity (5 gallons or more would be better see accessories on this page). Feel free to use a smaller pot when you first get started but if you want to future proof your first purchase, a 10 gallon pot will be with you for the long haul. This kit does include a bottle capper but not bottles. You can reuse craft beer bottles or buy them buy the case from us.
