Description

Light body with very silky mouthfeel. Brewed with a lot of wheat and oats with coriander and orange peel in the boil. Hops are minimal across the board. A slight tartness (not sour) from the yeast, along with the citrus undertones provide a refreshing drinking experience.

This is the most authentic Witbier you can make with malt extracts. It does require handling a few pounds of grain and performing a "mash", but don't get intimidated. The instructions are clear and the process is simple.

Like all of our custom designed recipe kits, the ingredients are taken directly out of our high turnover stock at the time of ordering. That way, nothing sits in a box on the shelf.

This kit includes steeping grains, dry malt extract, hops, dry yeast, priming sugar, bottle caps and a recipe sheet with basic step by step instructions. We highly recommend starting with 6 gallons of bottled distilled water and recommend a boil pot of 16 quarts or larger. You'll start with 3 gallons of water for the boil.
