Description

These new elements are pretty slick. The traditional way to get an element into a TC port is to use an adapter such as our Hot Pod ETC which then had to be hardwired to a cord. These Ripple TC elements don't have screw in bases but are welded right to a 1.5" TC flange. Not only that, but the electrical connection is made by integrated NEMA L6-30P blades. You can twist an L6-30R cord end right on. This gives you the ability to disconnect at the pot rather than drag the cord around.

You will need a 1.5" TC port on your kettle and we offer several different ways to get that done; weld ferrule, solder ferrule, and weldless. These are available separately. The L6 cable is also available as a separate item. Again, this element does not include a gasket, clamp or TC port for your kettle. They are available separately.

Element length is approximately 14.25" Long to the TC flange.

Everything is 304 High polish stainless steel.

These are made in China. Warranty is 6 months from date of purchase and does NOT cover damage due to dry firing. These elements must be submerged in liquid any time power is applied.

It is extremely important that you consult with an electrical professional for advice or wiring help. Under no circumstances should these be used without proper wiring, ground fault circuit protection, over current circuit protection. We are not licensed electricians so we cannot provide wiring advice.

Perfect July 23, 2019
Reviewer: An electrician from Portsmouth, NH United States
I bought this in December, zero problems. I like this setup because it’s easy to switch between kettles. I use it for 5 or 10 gallon batches. Going to buy a second one just in case because I’m never going back to propane.

Constantly Burns up... June 25, 2019
Reviewer: Mathew Townsend from Frederick, MD United States
From my understanding, a professional electrician has examined to be due to the loose connections on these elements. They do not provide adequate conductivity to safely work. I've wasted my money on several elements, and plugs because they continually burn up...

One issue connect the spades by twisting gently June 17, 2019
Reviewer: Gerald Hodge from Elburn, IL United States
Very good product that lasted a few years for me, but be careful on twisting on and twisting off your female plug to this element when mounted on the brew kettle - over time, I managed to cause the weld to break on the neutral spade, such that it was loose and caused an overheating at the plug.  I am rough on products, but it should be able to handle twist lock pressure over time.  Still a positive rating, as I just ordered 2 replacements (I for a backup).

Perfect fit April 8, 2019
Reviewer: Rich Wagner from Springfield, IL United States
I had previously purchased a lower priced element which I could not integrate into my envisioned electric brewery. After talking with brewhardware and then researching and finding this element on their site it is the perfect fit for how I am going to build my system
