Raw honey is simply harvested out of hives and strained through a coarse strainer just to remove any debris such as bees wax. This retains the delicate flavor and aromatics of the honey vs. honey that has been heated and pasteurized.

Wildflower honey, also known as polyfloral honey, is derived from the nectar of numerous species of flowers or blossoms. The taste, aroma and flavor will vary from season to season, depending on which flowers are dominant at the time the nectar is collected. Sandt’s wildflower honey is predominantly from New Jersey and is very popular.

Packing unfiltered raw honey since 1918—as the bees intended.

Sandt’s is proud to be an established family owned business, offering a rich legacy of commitment to quality for almost a century. Our process is what makes us unique. Unlike the majority of honey sitting on store shelves today, we at Sandt’s do not filter any of our honey, which would remove their natural nutrients. Nor do we add extenders, additives or anything at all. Every bottle of Sandt’s honey is all genuine, pure honey.

All of Sandt’s honey is kosher certified by the largest and most recognizable kosher certification organization in the country, OU (Orthodox Union).

Raw honey may crystalize over time and it is not an indication of staling in any way. Just warm up the container in a pool of warm water and it will liquefy again.
