Description   Raw honey is simply harvested out of hives and strained through a coarse strainer just to remove any debris such as bees wax. This retains the delicate flavor and aromatics of the honey vs. honey that has been heated and pasteurized. Wildflower honey, also known as polyfloral honey, is derived from the nectar of numerous species of flowers or blossoms. The taste, aroma and flavor will vary from season to season, depending on which flowers are dominant at the time the nectar is collected. Sandt’s wildflower honey is predominantly from New Jersey and is very popular. Packing unfiltered raw honey since 1918—as the bees intended.
