Locline is a fantastic flexible, positionable, stay-where-you-put-it, food grade acetal plastic tubing system with all kinds of uses and accessories. The one lasting frustration many users had is that it took a lot of separate expensive parts to adapt the locline tubing to 5/8" stainless tubing that is found on a lot of TC accessories (Spike Solo Basket recirculation ports for example).
This fitting solves the problem. You slide the SS nut over the 5/8" tubing, then roll the silicone oring over the tubing and finally insert the tubing into the end of the locline fitting. When you thread the nut on snug, the oring compresses and holds everything snug. Once you have a locline male ball on your tubing, you can link all the other locline accessories on and build whatever you want. The picture above shows the assembly attached to a piece of 5/8" OD stainless tubing but that tubing is just an example. You just get the nut, oring and purpose made locline male ball to male NPT adapter.
For example, this assembly has a few single links and a nozzle ring. You can find those items listed as accessories below. Please be aware that the "single link" item is just that. ONE link. The picture shows size links put together but you only get one with qty one.
Getting a little more complex, we also use this compression fitting in this setup that places an SSbrewtech Sparge/Recirc manifold on the bottom.

"Acetal Copolymer" appears to be the generic name for Delrin. More about Delrin on Dupont's site here.

A: The material used to manufacture Loc-Line is an acetal copolymer. This material, in accordance to the rules 21 CFR 177.2470, meets the requirements of this regulation for aqueous food contact. Not applicable for fatty foods and alcohol. All colorants are used at the recommended let-down ratio and meet 21 CFR 178-3297 for food contact.
