5 of 5 DIY E-Kettle September 9, 2019

I finally jumped on board the electric brewing train! This kit made soldering a TC port to my kettle super simple. I went with solder over weldless so there would be less nooks and crannies for bacteria to hide since I like to do kettle sours.

Bought 2 of these kits. Works great, easy to install. Only complaint was one of the gaskets is a little too large on one side and doesn't want to fit in the grove easily.  Radius worked well on my 14" and 16" pots.

I have two of these in my boil kettle and one in my HLT. They work great! The two in the BK are controlled by an EzBoil and can take 23 gal of wort from 168F to boiling in about 15 minutes without scorching the wort. You can't go wrong with these.

5 of 5 Electric Keggle Conversion September 17, 2017
Reviewer: Bradley Fernandez/Catalina Ruiz from Oldsmar, FL United States
Really impressed with the fit and finish of this Element. I looked at so many kits and just did not like any of the solution for the element wiring. I didn't want a big gnarly electric box hanging off my kettle and I also didn't want a permanently attached power cord either. This kit solved both of those issues. And the cost is about the same once you consider the cost of the additional pieces needed to get a tradition water heater element to work.
