We created this product listing as a public service announcement.

We understand you just bought a kegerator and it came with this really nice brand new CO2 tank and you can't live with the idea of trading it in for a 20 year old rusty steel tank. That's a fair instinct. Here are a few things to keep in mind as you call all over the state looking for a place that still does fills.

1. Your new tank was manufactured a few months ago, maybe a year ago. Whatever that date stamp is, you have 5 years from that date before the tank needs to be pressure tested. It costs $30 for a retest. If you swap that tank in for one of ours, you will never have to pay a retest fee.

2. When you swap in a new or like new tank, we try our best to give you a like-quality tank in return. Our stable of tanks varies quite a bit in quality, but it is never our intent to "get you" by taking in a new tank and trading for the worst rusted out unit in inventory.

3. At the end of the day, these are all just containers for CO2 that you'll never look at. They will be hidden inside or behind the kegerator. Countless customers admit after a few swaps that they were oddly concerned about the tank.

Long story short, swap your tank.

The product is always great. We had an issue which I emailed about late at night just to get it in the system, got a reply back in a few minutes and woke to another reply! AMAZING service. Turns out the issue is us and not the tank.
