While my weldless kit is the easiest solution for a completely fresh vessel, many brewers have already outfitted their vessels with couplings that have been welded in. The simple solution is a basic street elbow as shown in the picture. This kit has several options depending on what you have on your kettle already.

Includes:

• 19" Polycarbonate Tubing rated to 250F.
• Stainless Hardware
• Black Vinyl Numbers for each gallon mark from 2 to 15.(5-50 liter also available, contact me)
• 2.5" long eyebolt (may or may not be long enough depending on how you weld your coupling in).

Install Requirements:

• This kit requires that you already have a coupling installed in the lower sidewall of  your vessel (or want to have one welded in).
• Put a few turns of teflon tape on the threads of the sightglass elbow and thread it in until the clear tubing is vertical and the fitting is snug and leak free.

Options (click on the picture for more detail)

• The basic kit presents 1/4" NPT male threads to your vessel (you have your own 1/4" NPT coupling welded in already).
• The next option adds a 1/4" NPT half coupling that you must weld into your vessel. The rest of the kit threads into that.
• The last option adapts the 1/4" NPT male threads to 1/2" NPT. (you have your own 1/2" NPT coupling welded in already)
