This new CDN ProAccurate Waterproof Long Stem (DTW450L) Thermometer provides accurate temperature readings with a fast 6-second response. This model stands out for high waterproof rating. Tests show that they are protected against being immersed in over three feet of water for up to 30 minutes. This is more than enough protection against dropping the thermometer into a pot of water or wort. The ProAccurate Waterproof Thermometer features an 8" long 304 stainless-steel stem and tip. Measurement Range:-40 to +450 Degree F/-40 to +230.

Awesome long probe to grab readings off of the HLT/mash/boil without getting too close. Reads the temp within 5 seconds.

Works great! I had a "cheap" digital pen and this one seems to read temps quickers. I like the longer step and the included shield to help this thermometer last.
