overkill July 30, 2018 Reviewer: Benzo from Cleveland OH   thought i would need this to really tighten down the weldless TC fitting but i was able to use this socket with just my hand. i have no leaks in either of my kettles. a little pricey but it does make the job easier. BrewHardware Response: It depends on application. The larger diameter your pot is, and the thinner the walls are, the less necessary the socket is. It's a little disappointing that you'd rate the product 3 out of 5 stars because you didn't need it. It's like rating a broom 3 stars because it turns out you didn't drop crumbs on the floor. Anyway, you understand what I mean. If you need to tighten the TC down, this is a very inexpensive version of a huge socket. Was this review helpful to you?
