Great Idea, Good Execution February 9, 2016 Reviewer: Graeme Henderson from Springfield, VA United States   I have had several of these on three different pots (2 boil kettles and an HLT) over the course of two years. It is a great idea and a nice design.  However, you must be somewhat careful when moving the pot with the element housing attached.  The housing can flex and open at the threads and, if you aren't paying attention like I wasn't, the tiny welds at the TC connection can break.  Bobby was absolutely superb about replacing the one with the failed weld, so I only took off one star in the review. Thus, my rating for this housin is very good with the caveat that you need to avoid slinging the pot (into the sink, for instance) with the housing attached.  The heavy power cord creates enough leverage to pop open the housing or snap the welds... Just right for ripple elements. January 29, 2016 Reviewer: Michael G from NC United States   You cant use the ripple style elements with most adapters but with a little work, I fit elements in my Spike Brewing kettles with 1.5" TC fittings and they don't touch the kettle and didn't have to be expanded (by pulling the fold over apart.) My only complaint would be that the housing is a little thin and when you thread the housing together the threads will flex if any pressure is put on them, allowing the housing to pop open. Best looking element enclosure available February 22, 2015 Reviewer: simon kretchik from Cincinnati, OH United States   Just received my first of hopefully several element enclosures to check out the product. Switched to this from a Kal clone. These are very professional looking and the fact that they are removable for cleaning is a dream. I've seen other websites offer a similar product from upwards of a hundred bucks. For this price you cannot say no if you have the tri clamp fitting for an element, as well as the weldless options. I obsess over waterproofing when it comes to elements and this gave a very impressive seal for the element and worked like a charm after wiring it. looking to get one for my HLT in the future as well.
