5 of 5 1.5" Hot Pod Solder Kit August 14, 2015
Reviewer: Phil Smith from Slidell, LA United States
Love it, it looks better than any weld I could have gotten here locally, and is rock solid. Was skeptical at first because I have never soldered or brazed anything before, but  I watched the video (twice) as well as some of Bobby's other videos and went for it; again couldn't be happier.  The hot pod itself is a work of art, and coupled with the TC, makes for a seriously professional and engineered appearance to my kettle. All this for a really affordable package, thanks Bobby!

5 of 5 Excellent! July 9, 2015

I purchased the Hot Pod with the Radiused Solder Flange and it was very easy to install. It allows me to very easily remove and reinstall the element in seconds. The instruction videos are very helpful as well. Communication was quick and courteous. Excellent all around!

5 of 5 Nice June 12, 2015

This is a nice setup.  The standard ripple element just barely squeezes through and I love the radiused solder flange, great way to go.

5 of 5 super easy way to upgrade to tri clamps March 15, 2015
Reviewer: simon kretchik from Cincinnati, OH United States
my HLT was the last piece of equipment in my brewery to not have tri clamps so I got this kit to start with the element port. After watching Bobby's video several times I was pretty confident I could not ruin my HLT, and I was right. I have no soldering experience but just follow the video and you can get a clean tri clamp fitting on a kettle. Much easier for cleaning than lugging around the 'junction box' element guard. Would, and will buy again for future uprades

5 of 5 Great Element Enclosure February 28, 2015
Reviewer: John Loose from dayton, OH United States
I was skeptical about how the enclosure would fit my brewing kettles and heating element but I could not be more satisfied. I welded the tri-clover fitting onto my keg last night and it fits perfectly.

5 of 5 Great product February 1, 2015

Great looking easy to use enclosure. The solder flange installs easy just make sure the surfaces are clean. My first attempt at soldering on the flange was not successful with using mineral spirits to clean the parts but I removed the flange sanded everything down and cleaned with brake cleaner which does a great job dissolving oils. Second attempt came out great. A solid elegant looking solution to safely mounting and enclosing a heating element. I will be using this again on future kettles.

This thing is neat.  As soon as I saw it on youtube  I knew I was going to start using tri-clamps.  Its a very clean way to mount an element.
