A great solution for non-selfless fittings! June 1, 2018 Reviewer: WILLIAM MAHLEY from NEWARK, DE United States   Successfully installed this on two Megapot kettles using Greenlee 13/16 and 3/4 hole punches and the recommended Brew Hardware pull-through tool.  Viewing Bobbys videos on using the pull-through tool and SS soldering technique is EXTREMLY important.  One caveat:  my Megapots are thick walled and excessively work hardened during the manufacturing process.  This resulted in severe splitting of the metal around the hole during the pull-through process with both 13/16 and 3/4 holes.  This was easily remedied by cleaning an refluxing the well and shoulder around the fitting on the inside, wrapping additional concentric circles of solder around the fitting, reheating the surface area around the fitting on the outside then applying the torch closely around the solder loops  from the inside until they melt and fill the well around the fitting and any areas of the shoulder where the cracks existed.  Cleaned up nice and resulted in a neat, strong and leak free application! These things are great! February 16, 2017 Reviewer: Brandt Winkelman from Bozeman, MT United States   bought a few of these to add some ports in a keggle I'm building. pulled them through and TIG welded them on from the outside instead of soldered but either way, a great way to add a port to a vessel. I also TIG welded on some of the threaded TC adapters form Bobby on the outside (male) end. perfect way to minimize the amount of fittings you have to use, great way to mount up the whirlpool arm too!
