kettle conversion June 12, 2017 Reviewer: James Olson from Montross, VA United States   I recently decided to convert my 20 year old kettle to electric and add some goodies, a thermometer and whirlpool arm. Using the supplies purchased here, the conversion went effortlessly and I saved a lot rather than purchasing an already prepared electric kettle. The online instructions were great! Thanks Jimo. BH is the destination for off the path builds. January 6, 2017 Reviewer: Gregg from Charlottesville, VA United States   I installed the Hot Pod into a insulated cooler that I'm slowly going to turn into a HERMs unit. The instructions were spot on with one exception I had to drill a larger hole (2 1/8") to account for the cap of the Hot Pod. Then I finished the interior hole with the recommended 1 1/4" hole. Great product, but wish it had a thicker o-ring. September 7, 2016 Reviewer: Brian from Lincoln, NE United States   Good clean look, but I am glad I had another o-ring laying around that was a bigger/thicker.  I could not get it to seal after multiple attempts with the o-ring provided.  Now it works great and looks great with the new o-ring.  Remember, this takes a 1-1/4" hole, which I was worried about putting in a new pot, but it looks great and was well worth it.  Very happy with my purchase. Looks professional August 22, 2016 Reviewer: Michael from Bessemer, AL United States   This kit makes my pot look so professional and the price was very good. Its super easy to install. I used a step bit with WD40 and went slow and steady. Then I could not figure out what socket to get so called up and within seconds was recommended a 5.98 socket in the water heater section at my local Lowes. When I decide to do a second element for my brewpot I will definitely be getting another one of these. Was this review helpful to you?

Hot Pod Review August 22, 2016 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Annapolis, MD United States   Perfect enclosure for adding a heating element to your brew kettle. I like DIY but wasn't to keen on shortening my life expectancy with a make shift electrical enclosure. This provided everything I needed to do an easy and safe install. Would recommend and buy again.
