does not leak May 27, 2016 Reviewer: john from treasure island, FL United States   It is of high quality, and does not leak. Drill the hole slowly, and check the size with the part often so you will have the smallest hole possible. I used a step bit (not from Brew hardware), and if I went to the 13/16 mark on the bit the hole would have been too large. Was this review helpful to you?

the welded back nut April 22, 2016 Reviewer: Allen Perper from Silver Spring, MD United States   The welded inside nut on the bulkhead almost ensures a no leak fitting in my kettle.  yeah, it cost a few pennies more, but i expect it  to last longer with zero leaks. Was this review helpful to you?

Great for kettles, careful with thick coolers March 12, 2016 Reviewer: Brian G from Troy, MI United States   I used this bulkhead to upgrade the cheap one on my boil kettle that needed silicone to stay leak-free.  This design is brilliant and made an easy perfect seal. Not a drop leaked in an overnight test. I originally bought this for converting my Coleman Xtreme cooler to a mash tun, but found it was not long enough to clear the thick insulation and still install a valve.  If you have thick walled cooler such as the Xtreme, the variable length bulkhead will do the trick.
