We have been selling ball valves from the very beginning and we're completely obsessed high quality valves that operate with very little handle resistance. Sure, you can find valves out on the mega discount platforms for a couple dollars less, but they behave like they should be free and you definitely get what you pay for.
What you're looking at here is a brand new series of valves that we've curated in 2026. We're calling them the "X-SERIES" Modular Valves because the ends are "eXchangeable" meaning that every stock valve configuration in the series can be modified into one of the others by changing out one or more of the end blocks (available for separate purchase).
THIS item's factory configuration features a 1.5" TC flange on one end (2" actual flange diameter) x MQD (BLQD)
As far as we know, no other vendor sells a valve with a built in MQD which eliminates the nook and crannies you'd get by threading in a separate adapter.
Like all of our 3pc valves, they are constructed of 304 Stainless Steel with PTFE seats and stem seals. The interior ball is full flow, also known as "full port" with a 9/16" bore size.
3 piece valves can be taken apart for cleaning if you desire. Just loosen the four bolts and the whole unit comes apart. The end block can even remain attached to your plumbing or vessel. Another benefit of the 3 piece valve is when tightening into a welded port, the orientation of the valve may end up upside down when the threads fully mesh. A 3pc valve can be reoriented in increments of 90 degrees of rotation.
CLEANING PRACTICAL TIPS: While many users feel compelled to take ball valves apart for cleaning, they are completely cleanable in a typical recirculating clean in place (CIP) process. Position the valve handle in the half-way-open position so that cleaning solution can get behind the ball and in the space between seats. This space is NOT exposed to flowing cleaning solutions when the valve is in the FULL OPEN position.
