This version of our 3/4" ID tubing has 1/8 wall thickness. The tubing is imported, about 25% less flexible, and also slightly clearer/translucent than our normal tubing. Being that it is less flexible, it is less likely to kink, but it is also a bit more difficult to stretch over slightly oversized hose barbs. Nevertheless, we still recommend 13/16" barbs because the flow is better and the tubing is less likely to slide off.
Warning: Do NOT leave silicone tubing soaking in Star San sanitizer for more than a few hours at a time. Long term soaking, such as several days to a week, can cause silicone to get brittle.
