I had these 20" long brushes custom manufactured specifically for cleaning the inside of the sight glass kits offered here. The overall length is 20" and has a 1/2" loop on the end to hold onto. The brush part is 1/4" diameter by 1" long and uses a very soft nylon that will not scratch the tubing when used with water or your favorite kettle cleaning solution.

 

This works great when a simple soaking just doesn't cut it. I do NOT have a discounted shipping method on this so I highly recommend that you only add this to the cart if you're already purchasing a kit or other accessory that justifies the shipping. If adding this to an order for items that ship in smaller boxes, I will slightly bend the handle to fit. You can straighten it with no problem.

My sight glass from BrewHardware was getting kind of funky and had some pellet hop leftovers in it. I ordered one of these brushes and it cleaned everything out, now it looks like new! I poured water in the top as I pushed the brush up and down, no real elbow grease required.

Works effectively at keeping the grime out of your sight glass tubing! As previously mentioned, I also poured water in from the top to rinse out the hop/break material from the sight glass and tee fitting. Highly recommended for keeping your sight glass working for years to come!
