5 of 5 Soldered onto 3/8" copper chiller February 24, 2015
Reviewer: Brandon White from Cypress, TX United States
Hard to beat these for the price.  I cutoff the barb using a grinder and cutoff wheel, then opened up the hole to 3/8" using a drill press.  I then soldered it onto my counter-flow chiller wort line using Stay Brite flux and solder.

This results in a pretty good amateur sanitary connection.  I'm trying to avoid pipe threads where possible.  Way cheaper than the Blichmann QuickConnectors and I'm happier with the result.
